Fair. It may be an advert but why on earth aren’t these standard? Zips have been the bane of my fucking life, so many decent clothes destroyed by cheap zips. This should be FORCED on all manufacturers.

This will solve my problem. I have missing plastic teeth on my boat canopy and I will just have to add a couple of these to fix it. Sweet!!

It worked! Had a little trouble getting teeth to engage, but the video trick did the trick.

It needs tension! Thanks. I’ll try to fix that with pliers, if it doesn’t work I’ll buy this product. Better than replace my fave jacket or even the whole zíper (I sew so I know how much work replacing zipers involves)

Thanks for your tutorial. I have jacket with just one slider- and I am considering converting it to a two slider zipper like the one you have here. Can I simply stack a fix n zip below my existing slider to convert the zipper?

I have a jacket (parka) with just one way zipper but I would like to turn it into a double way zipper to be more comfortable when I seat. I would like to open the bottom a little bit instead to open the entire jacket and close it every time I step up! Is that be possible with this zip? Let me tell you my jacket has a big plastic squared stop at the bottom that comes from stock so idk!

Better if you showed it with a pair of pants with the zipper swen in to the pants it’s easy with a zipper not installed nearly impossible with a zipper swen into the pants not easy at all so you have any videos showing that

Just clamp the zipper together with a pair of plyers 👍 worked a treat

ok dokie it sounds so obvious but what if the teeth on either side are misaligned busted up or out of the simple ability to mesh with there neighbour and therefore repeateadly leave you with a jacket hanging open ...welcome to winter in canada...brrrr

What happened to the original slider part? How was it removed without damaging the zip? The fixnzip won't match the original colours or design, although it obviously zips perfectly, for now.

Just got the FixnZip from Amazon & it doesn't work on a mini backpack I have. Also, there aren't any instructions for the ring or pull. It's annoying, my zipper still splits open.
